A special germ filter and a high-performance membrane developed exclusively for the hypoxbreath ensure the purest and germ-free breathing air.
The air is compressed free of lubricants and cleaned of organic substances such as aromatics and other reactive components that should not normally be present in clean air.
The air is purified in further filtration steps to 10 nm (1/10000 mm) and then fed to a molecular sieve. The sieve can almost be imagined as a child’s sand sieve, except that the pore size has shrunk to the atomic order of magnitude.
The now separated phases of air, oxygen with the water content of the ambient air and nitrogen are fed into a pneumatic circuit of valves, static and dynamic throttles. There, the required concentrate is produced in a pneumatic-electric control circuit and leaves the device via a certified virus and microorganism filter.

We have deliberately opted for this more expensive technology, even though a less expensive process is available, which is sometimes used in cheaper appliances and industrial plants.
These more cost-effective technologies use the large surface area and storage capacity of various zeolites to bind oxygen. Unfortunately, most zeolites are aluminum-based compounds, which can be released into particulate matter when the zeolite reservoir is regenerated.
Another, but acoustically louder method is alternating PPA operation. This process is technically used when particularly high gas concentration units are to be achieved.
