Reaching new heights with hypoxbreath - The success story of B.Heise
In the fascinating world of mountaineering, the challenge of scaling great heights comes with a variety of risks and rewards.
One of the biggest hurdles that mountaineers face is the low oxygen concentration at higher altitudes, which is caused by the pressure differences. But thanks to modern technology and innovative training methods, mountain fans now have a new way to prepare for these extreme conditions: stationary altitude training with hypoxbreath®. Interval hypoxia training (IHT) with hypoxbreath® is a revolutionary method based on a technical imitation of altitude training. The principle of hypoxbreath® training is simple but effective: the user breathes in air with a reduced oxygen content at certain intervals to accustom the body to hypoxia, i.e. a lack of oxygen. This is then alternated with phases of normal or even increased oxygen supply. It’s like training the body to use oxygen more efficiently.
At the age of 66, Brunhilde Heise from the Rhineland once again had two major goals: to climb Mera Peak at 6,461m for the third time and then to cross the Amphu Laptsa Pass at 5,845m, one of the most difficult passes due to its technical challenge and geographical location. Challenges that seem unattainable for most people in view of their age. But with determination and the right training, she set herself this ambitious goal.
With just 6 weeks of intensive preparation using interval hypoxia training with the hypoxbreath® and appropriate training, the fit midager laid the foundations for her upcoming adventures. Determined and full of confidence, B. Heise set off for Mera Peak and the Amphu Laptsa Pass. Thanks to her hard work and the support of interval hypoxia training with hypoxbreath®, she overcame the challenges and achieved her goals with flying colors. For Brunhilde Heise, it was not only a physical achievement, but also a personal triumph. Not only was she able to overcome physical limits, but with her will and determination she proved that age does not have to be a limit for great adventures and that with the right preparation and training anything is possible.
She has planned another major mountain ascent this year and once again the hypoxbreath® altitude training device will be an essential part of her preparations for these physical challenges. To make sure you don’t miss anything, we will soon be reporting on the intensive planning phase up to the final ascent. Follow us on INSTA.
This tough woman’s story is an inspiring example of how interval hypoxia training with hypoxbreath® can be an excellent way to prepare for sporting challenges. We congratulate them on this outstanding achievement and thank them for their trust in the hypoxbreath®.
